This month featires one of my favorite tenor players, Joe Henderson. There isn’t much to talk about with this formbecause it is a simple blues. One thing is worth noting, the turnaround in this blues is a V-IV-I rather than a traditional ii-V. This solo departs from the bebop world and is truly one of a kind just like Joe was!
