This month we are going to listen to one of my favorites recordings in jazz history, ‘The Real McCoy’ In particular, we focus on the track Blues on the Corner and talk about a few things that jump out to me in this recording. McCoy Tyner has recently left us and I think this is a perfect tribute to his legacy as a pianist and composer. Enjoy!
