This week we are diving deeper into scale exercises. We are looking at three, four, and five note patterns that will challenge not only your technique, but your sense of lining up rhythms as well. I would consider being able to do these exercises the bare minimum when it comes to technique. If you can’t do these at a decent clip, you’ll have trouble with many of the other exercises that come your way in your journey. Time to buckle down and learn these exercises in all 12 keys! Enjoy the pain!
