My main occupation is as a mental health therapist and its great to see this being presented. Mindfulness is really a foundation we need to have in order to build on anything. Without being mindful of how we sound as musicians would get in the way of getting better. Being mindful/aware of ruts we get into in out improvisation can help us spring forward.
There are a lot of benefits of it.
